A: No, our physical 3D-printed cutters are made from PLA plastic, which can warp in high heat. Please hand wash them in lukewarm soapy water only.
Q: Can I use these cutters for polymer clay?
A: Yes! Our cutters have sharp, tapered edges that make them perfect for slicing through polymer clay cleanly. Just don't mix your food tools with your clay tools!
Q: What are the recommended settings for printing the STL files?
A: We recommend a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.2mm layer height. Standard PLA settings work great. Our STLs are pre-oriented and do not require supports.
Q: Can I request a custom cutter design?
A: Absolutely! If you have a specific logo, character, or shape in mind, reach out to us. We can create a custom STL file or physical cutter tailored to your exact dimensions.
Q: How quickly will I receive my order?
A: STL digital files are available for instant download immediately after purchase. For physical cutters, we typically print and ship within 1-3 business days.
Q: Are the cutters food safe?
A: Our physical cutters are printed using PLA, which is considered food-safe. However, due to the layer lines of 3D printing, we recommend washing them thoroughly and covering them with cling wrap if you are extremely cautious.
Q: Can I sell the cookies/clay items I make with your cutters?
A: Yes! You are completely free to sell the physical baked goods or clay jewelry you create using our cutters. However, you may not resell or distribute our digital STL files.
Q: Do you offer commercial licenses for the STLs?
A: The standard STLs are for personal use (or making physical items to sell). If you want to 3D print and sell the physical cutters themselves, please contact us for a commercial printing license.
